I just finished the glass on the deck of the Explorer.. Made an observation.
When I glassed the Guillemot, I mixed the batches in the same container one after another. As work progressed, the material was harder to work. I thought that I was just getting tired.
I discovered... ....duh! That small amounts of epoxy left in the mixing container kicked off the next batch quickly..next more quickly.etc.
This time I used a new container for each batch..What a difference! Much easier to work, wet out well, lots smoother. Live and learn! I also like the Raka 3.75 oz glass.
