: I am looking for some advice on technique for applying the fillets so the
: interior glass goes down nice and smooth. My last boat gave me fits when
: it came to glassing those concave seems.

A friend suggested this method, it works great. I used it on my first boat. On my second I got cocky, and skipped this, much to my chargrin

A) use two squegees. one in each hand. one pushed the epoxy, the other holds the glass still
B) epoxying near a convex corner, hold one squegee at the corner, and use the other to spread. this will keep the glass in the corner
C) you can buy squegees that have radiused corners usefull for createing the right shape and size of fillet

steps

1) measure and cut the glass
2) apply saturation coat, let set, scrape. (sometimes the grain will come up, this will hold the glass off of the surface, not good.
3) exoxy fillet as per pygmy instructions, let this set (at least to a hard green)
4) tape as per pygmy instructions
5) apply another thin layer of very thick epoxy over. let this set to a moderatly hard green stage (about one hour depending on temp)(you should be able to push your fingernail into it)
6) lay out the glass
7) use the corner of a squegee to force the glass into the fillet material
