I love this project. It makes me want to get a pickup, just so I can try my hand at building something like this. I built a plywood skinned camper on the back of an old truck I had in the 70's. It was very comfy, but also quite boxy. I think a strip-built's ability to have curves is a big plus.

I read a post on the truck bulletin board that this link brought me to. Somebody said the shell was nice but it didn't go with the truck. Who cares! It went beautifully with the wooden kayak on top! Let's get our priorities straight!
