: It's not so much that the bow was low volume,,it was,,but the lever at the

: was kind of glaring about this is that the catalog described it as having
: a high volume bow with a photograph on angle from the bow giving the
: impression of a big bow. Anyway I enjoyed it immensely, configured a
: little rudder and used it in a race after taking a stroke clinic from an
: olympic racer,,,understand I'm NOT a racer so the character building
: experience of having a fellow in a Scupper Pro keep up with me for the
: first mile was humorous. 10 yrs previous I was 20lb lighter and racing
: bicycles so the writing was on the wall regarding what it would take to be
: able to actually race kayaks,,, ouch! my physical conditioning is worse
: than then but at least I know where to put the paddle now!

I see,there was a lot more flair in the rear end so the wave crest would pick up the back abruptly and as a result the front end would get rammed into the trough quite deeply,makes sense.Is this a characteristic of swedeform hulls?
Was the actual waterline symetrical or swedeform?
I still think the guy in the scupper pro deserves a round of applause.
