: Hello all,
: Got the glass done and three fill coats on the deck. After the first fill, I
: scraped some of the bumps over the graphics. I was left with white
: spots.(see pic) I thought that they would vanish under the next fill coat.
: Nope!! I think they are here to stay, unless I sand the graphic off and
: start over. I did color some of them with permanent marker, they did hide
: somewhat.
: In the interest of experience, why did I get them? How can I avoid them?
: On a good note, I assembled the coaming riser. I used instant glue at the
: deck joint, and wood glue in the bead/cove. The job took 3 hours. (instant
: cure glue as a clamp)
: Thanx everyone, for the support.
: Steve

If you check the rest of your boat closely you may find you have them in other places as well -- they may just be showing up better over your graphic. I think I had the same problem you did, and I think it's epoxy-starved cloth. I've got some places on my hull, some irregular patches here and there, where I see the weave of the cloth. I didn't notice mine until after the surface got smoother with the adddtion of fill coats. My guess is that I over-sqeegee'd my wet-out. Firm pressure should be used to get the glass tight to the surface, but if you squeegee too hard, you remove too much epoxy. I think this is what I did, and may be what you did, too.

It doesn't look bad, but it gives the little perfectionist in you the reason to build another kayak... :)
