: Got the glass done and three fill coats on the deck. After the first fill, I
: scraped some of the bumps over the graphics. I was left with white
: spots.(see pic) I thought that they would vanish under the next fill coat.
: Nope!! I think they are here to stay, unless I sand the graphic off and
: start over. I did color some of them with permanent marker, they did hide
: somewhat.
I think the first fill coat was applied too soon over the cloth, and/or possibly the wood under the graphic area was epoxy starved. "Scraping the bumps" with additional epoxy and pressure from the applicator may possibly have worked tiny air bubbles or even a void into the cloth above the butterfly.
