Jim,
I tend to agree with you. I had similar spots on the Guillemot where I joined the hull/deck. I used 6oz tape for that joint and had the spots where I feathered the edge of the tape. I never thought to try picking the dust out..I have applied fill coats over it already. :( I don't think that starvation is a problem, as the graphic was epoxied over a seal coat and set before the glass. I "retouched" the spots with black marker, and it looks better. I'm envoking the 6 foot rule!! :D I'm gonna chalk this one up to experience! I'll do better on the next one!
