the literature about this, and some of my experience says that it does not have a shelf life (to at least five years)

If the epoxy has crystilized, you will need to warm it to disolve the cryistilzation.

I assume however that the contailer has been sealed, and you dont have a layer of dust and bugs mixed into teh epoxy
