Hi Shawn,

Sea Kayaker just had an article (it was either them or Wavelength) on entrapment cause all sea kayakers will eventually die from entrapment. If I remember correctly, they warned against any type of cordage that the foot can get caught on during egress. Have you had any problems with these lashings during an egress (either upside up or upside down)?
