I designed in a plastic coated steel wire loop to the deck of Geyrfugl,
fixed with panel pins through the wire and epoxied underneath the deck.
I'm not sure how robust the plastic coating will prove to be, so for
my Cormorant 466, I'll probably use a section of the same stiff stainless
steel wire that I have got for the skeg control cable. None of this stuff
will stop someone with bolt croppers or enough time and solitude to use a
hacksaw ...
