I am finally starting to wire the panels together for my Cirrus. This is my first attempt at kayak building and I have now been initiated into the Stitch and Glue fraternity. I drew my first blood on a wire this afternoon. Probably won't be the last.

I am a late comer to kayak building, I'm 65 and retired from civil engineering. I had forgotten the joy of building with wood but it all came back to me as I was planing the scarf joints. Nothing quite like the sound of a sharp plane cutting a long curl of wood.

When I figure out how to post pictures, I'll put some up for all to see.
