Here are some pictures of the T-Shirt test on my Morris inspired kayak. The image in the upper left is before shapeing the gunwales. Notice the sharp edges and poor transitions.

Morris leaves the building details a bit vague so I've had to figure out lots of little details. Putting the t-shirt over the frame gives you a real sense of what the final boat will be like.
