Probably the first line ever spoken by Eve was when she (possibly) said: "Adam dear, are you missing any ribs?" This must have come as a response to that famous palindrome: "Madam, I'm Adam"
I bring up this ancient conversation at this time, for after looking at your photos I wonder if perhaps your boat should have a few more ribs to support the stringers, and of course to support the skin which is mostly carried on the stringers. Other boats in this style which I have seen, or seen photographs of, have about 3 or maybe 4 times the number of ribs that your boat seems to have, and those ribs are fairly closely spaced.
Just wondering at the engineering at work here, and thought I'd ask for some enlightenment. Thanks.
