Re: Skin-on-Frame: "Symetrik" Folding Frame
In Response To: Skin-on-Frame: "Symetrik" Folding Frame *Pic* (Tom Yost)
Good day Tom,
Where could I get the plans for one of these? This looks like just what I need for my travels. Is there a web site that has further details? It would be much easier for me to find aluminum than wood. I know you have posted some things about the materials for the frames, but can't remember what you used... some type of nylon plastic??? Is it something that can be ordered and shipped internationally, i.e. available in sizes that would ship easily?
Thanks for the post. Let us see the skinned version when done, and any tips you can give on how you make the skin to where you can remove and re-use it would be appreciated.
Malcolm
