I'm talking about the side panels for the peaked-deck version of a Cormorant. While I was cutting the panels out I guess I had a little problem! It's not a big deal - they glued right back together without a hitch! It's just that those pieces that are 18' long and only a few inches wides are kind of fragile... I know, I know - none of you has ever broken a panel into 5 (FIVE) pieces before... But, then, none of you are me either!
Anyway, it's coming right along and heck, the deck should even be finished this week and maybe even attached to the hull! (It pretty much has to be finished this week - it was supposed to be out of the living room last week!)
But... Hey! I found the greatest little jigsaw blades for doing the cutting... They're these funky-looking little 19 tooth/in 'scrolling' blades (available at Ace) and they make beautiful cuts... (Hmm. So, did the panels break because of these blades? Don't be cynical! Of course not! It was all my fault!)
cheers!
