I use a CalComp pen plotter to print out full sized drawings from my Mac. "MacPlot" from MicroSpot provides a plotter driver that works for many plotters and can be used to plot from any Mac program. You should check to see if the plotter is supported by MacPlot. Also you will need to check the interface cable. You might need to get a parallel or serial card.
: I've got an opportunity to get one of these. It.s not being used due to a
: replacement lazer type. The price is right So , Being technically
: challenged I'd like to know if having a plotter could be much help drawing
: out plans?
: I have a Mac , so do I need a PC that will run an Auto-Cad program in
: conjunction with the plotter?? Or should I stay clear of things I know
: nothing about??
: Thanks for any response.
