We are getting excited now, the work is coming to an end and starting to think about a launch in near future.

I am building a "Storm SLT by Vaclav Stejskal" for my wife, Jean. Finished sanding the hull and most of deck this morning, washed off the dust with water and presto, a glimse of what the boat will look like with varnish.

Weighs 31 lbs as is, rigged looks like about 37 - 39 lbs, my first light weight boat. I have finished the Nick Schade footrest & strip coaming, Jay Babina plaster of paris fiberglass seat with foam base. Magnetic hatches inspired by Rob Macks. Couldn't have done it without all the help from this board for sure!!!
