Hi Steve,

Of course, it makes sense now! By the way, I had already looked
at your site - and that was the first time I realized that each
blade took TWO laminations, attached to the sides of the shaft,
not one lamination with the shaft attached to the back of it.
Guess I was still in the wrong mindset when I pondered the tapering.
Now that you point it out, it's obvious that if the blades attach to
the edge with the glue line then you plane both equally down to
3/4". Thanks!

: laminated sections that will be glued up to form the paddle faces. The
: other surfaces are cut to match the curve of the inside face. I left the
: "back" side of the shaft full until the glue up, to get blended
