Hi Lindsay, they are also sometimes called "A" clamps or "Pony" clamps. They are very handy and I have about 12 small (3in.) ones and 12 medium (5in.). If I had 100 of each then I would be able to use that many... I guess I like to keep the operations/expenditures scaled back a little.

In a bind, you can make a wooden "C" clamp pictured below. It's not very clear but the inverted "C"s are made of plywood and there is a wedge to one side that applies pressure on the workpiece. It's one way to go if you find yourself needing dozens of clamps.
