Has anyone out there built a Firestar yet? I was originally thinking of building the Northstar, but with three other boats under my belt with beams of over 22-1/2", I thought it might be good to build something a little more streamlined. This will be my first stripper, so I want to get it right.

I'm mostly looking for performance feedback, if anyone can compare the Firestar to say...an Arctic Tern or a Morris SOF with a beam of 23". Are these narrower boats like the Firestar (21" beam) significantly more tippy? Is there still enough room inside for some camping gear?
