My kayak can seat on or two also, I put a stadium seats in mine, (the $12 ones from REI or Wal Mart) when I have someone with me... I bring the other one. At first I did it to find the center to sit in when I was alone, I was supprised that they don't slide around at all. So I have not made fixed seats as my passengers are sometimes kids that don't weigh much, so I move them a little to ajust the balance.
