It wasn't bad enough my Night Heron is still unfinished in the basement. Now I've gone and picked up (for very little money) and older Pintail in need of a little work. Most of what it needs is more-or-less cosmetic but there is this big ugly chimp pump mounted just behind the cockpit. This has to go. Easy enough to remove but then there's this gaping hole about 5 1/2" across. Has anyone out there had any experience filling in a hole this size in fiberglass? Or even a wild theory as to how it might be done?
