In NZ and Australia, "the warehouse" is a series of department stores. In NZ the quality of the clamps are reasonable to good.

In Australia, the cheapest and best spring clamps were the nylon ones from the above shop. I tried the cheaper metal ones from a hardware shop, but the springs were varible and not as strong or consistant as the black nylon ones.

They also sell other clamps suitable for building a kayak.
