Yes, I did have initial problems. I used RAKA slow hardener (sounds like you did too, Jack). I was very concerned when I first applied the resin. I saw the same patterns Jack shows in his picture. I could work them out with a lot of squeegy work, but it was too much to do the whole hull. This was on Beth's Silver, BTW, so I was not happy to say the least ! :-) However, I was very pleased to find that by the next day, the resin had finally completely saturated. I don't believe it would have without the slow hardener. There may still be some spots left, but they would be hard to see on the Alaskan Yellow Cedar. I will use this cloth and resin again on the deck, which should happen fairly soon.
