The only certain thing in life is uncertanty. That's one of the magical things about the human experience I think.

Rapids and waves come in all shapes and sizes, some are on the water and some are not. Being able to stay focused on the objective allows one to survive and transform tragedy to a minor setback (or a moment for reflection). You and Sage managed to do it with style and grace. Plus Sage had witnesses.
