Shawn, how about an overall shot of the boat? I, too, am very interested in this sort of construction method, although I don't have a use for a take-apart, at least not yet. But I do plan on using alum tubing for my ply formed Baidarka. The forms for this kayak have been set up on a strongback (table) for quite some time in my carport that all of the neighbors can see. These neighbors sure are curious as to what it is. Looks cool when you drive by and see all of the forms line up, pretty obvious to me that it's a kayak.

Share a few more pictures, if you don't mind, and keep us updated as to your progress. Thanks.
