Could you post some pics of the milkiness?
The small gaps...are they on the inside? If so, it's not a real issue per se, and if it bothers you for the looks of it, you can always crack a hole through and fill with epoxy but why bother?
I'm always interested in people epoxy experiences; what kind of epoxy did you use and did you wash and scrub between coats? What kind of surface prep, etc?
The milkiness several others over time have described and the cuase ranges from entrained air, dust, moisture and my flippant theory: the Ghost of Elvis! Seriously, I'd love to see some images and you can always send right over to my e-mail. I can ask around to the several epoxy shops around, and they'll ask their reps.
