I would like to believe your agent is right and mine is wrong. Mine told me, and my policy writing seems to support him, that boats are covered differently than recreation equipment and are only covered for $1000; and that is a total amount, not for each boat.

I'd check once more and try to get something in writing. Companies are not bound by what an agent says.
