I have recently finished restoring a Baidarka kayak using the same method to reglass the hull as I did with my Guillemot. I would like to paint the boat to finish it off. What type of paint would you recommend. When I first posted a while back as to whether I should start the project a few recommendations were given such as deck paint and someone suggested getting paint from Walmart. I would like to hear some more thoughts or opinions on what is a good product to use. (read economical) Also is it necessary to apply a finish over the paint such as a varnish to seal or harden it or will the paint alone on the fiberglass hull be sufficient?
