Thanks for the compliments. You won't go wrong with the Outer Island. It's a great kayak. I hear you about choosing a boat to build. Too many choices. I started milling strips for a Merlin canoe this past weekend. I have a deadline to complete it by 5/31 so that I can take it on a fishing trip to south Florida. After I wrap up the Cormorant and build the Merlin, I'm taking a break.
