I think so.

I sent my request in about 12:08pm PST, and it accepted my request.

Now we'll just have to wait and see if it is confirmed, and they charge my credit card. If everything goes "according to Hoyle", I'll have 10 sites, and I'm sure there would be space at one or more for you.

After my request was processed, I logged in again, and the campground was entirely full for Saturday night...but not Friday night.

The other wierd thing was that there were absolutely no Forest Campground sites available on any weekend night. Even right at the crack of midnight when I started the reservation request process. It makes me think they've already given sites to someone else...why not us?

But....if we don't get those spots reserved, should we maybe look at getting a house or dorm?

I'm a little miffed that Ft. Worden doesn't make it any easier for us to get together...they don't even let Joe reserve the beach a long time in advance..I sort of hate to say it, but maybe another Jefferson County area venue would be better for future rendezvoux? I know this sounds a little like "me, me, me", but with 200+ attendees, we represent a lot of spending for one weekend in August...meals, gas, beds, toys... If Ft. Worden doesn't want our presence that badly, I'll bet someone else would gladly take our money.
