: Well, I seriously considered using the old yak for a cool flower planter in
: my front yard but it's my first baby and I just couldn't do it. I could
: sense it wanted to float again so I stocked up on Guiness and Chartreuse
: and went to work on the rebuild. I think the trip will be a great getaway
: for all of us. I'm taking stock of necessary equipment and provisions now
: to be sure I'm ready. One question I have is this: if I bring my own
: Guiness are you guys gonna give me puppy eyes as I look over the top of
: the can and slurp away? I need to know how much to stock up on just in
: case guilt becomes an issue.

I'm beginning to get the big picture here. You are rebuilding the wreck to use as a tow behind fridge and your packs contain Guinness and Powerbars. I'll bet you have a recliner and a TV packed into that rear hatch too. What kind of wilderness experience am I getting myself in for? I think I can see the real reason you missed the portage and went over that waterfall. :-)
