Hallo!
I've used at least 4 different brands of sandpaper with my ROS on my current 'yak. Well, today was the fourth brand. It will also now be the only brand that I used on resin. What is the mystery brand? Why is it so much better than the other brands? Oh! If only Charles would share the secret with us!
Ok, you talked me into it. Sears (maybe Craftsman - same diff.) brand sandpaper. And, amazingly, IT DID NOT GET CLOGGED UP even on fresh (under 24 hours) resin! Yes, yes. I still went through two disks of 60 grit to sand out my deck, but it didn't gunk up AT ALL. I only changed disks because the paper had worn through around the edges...
To top this off, it was cheaper than any other stuff I had used. (4 disks of 60 grits at $2.99.)
For what it's worth, or your mileage may vary, or whatever....
