My wife and I are the chairs of our church's "silent auction." I am looking for anyone who might want to sell (or donate!) a strip built kayak at our auction. Since the idea is to make money for the church we can't afford to buy the boat ahead of time, however, we would be willing to put a "minimum bid" on the boat that would go back to the builder. The church would keep anything above that amount. There will also be plenty of space for any marketing materials (brochures) that you might want to display.

Ideally, I would love to have the boat at the auction (or a sample boat if its not built yet). I live in Ridgefield, CT and would come pick it up if it were not too far.

Any boats, referrals, or ideas would be appreciated.
