Where abouts? We're neighbors. I'll be building a Merganser this summer/fall, but now I'm in the middle of building 3 skin boats. I've built a S & G canoe ( Rob-Roy ) and can give you some building tips and help if needed. I've not built a kit, but rather from plans. Would be interesting to see how well those kits are put together.

There are quite a few folks in the Bay Area that could probably use some company when you are interested, plus I have a couple of friends that are probably itching to get out on the water real soon...
