Hi Don, I started with four oversized beadless strips that I had left over from the boat and put a +- 30 deg bevel on one edge of each. I epoxied them at the center loom area (12") around a small diamond shaped spacer. I epoxied the last three inches of each blade and held them flat using spring clamps with wood flour thickened epoxy. So I was left with an open crack along each face and a "V" shaped groove along the front/back edges. I filled those voids with phenolic microballons. The underlying structure is a little underbuilt because my intention was to simply cover it in CF. I covered the front/back edges with a solid 1/2"x1/2" cedar strip and then shaped those down... feeding off the lines of the first four strips. I can't tell if this makes sense.

Anyway, it was very easy. I lost interest in the CF concept when the weather started to turn and I decided to get on the water this season. It looks good and is light. I'll glass it simply because I'd rather trade a little weight for strength and safety. Anyway, you can always build more
