Have you taken any photos of it yet? I'd love to see how it's turning out. What are you planning to use for gunwales? Decks?

I'm thinking of ash outwales and inwales with mahogany scupper blocks. I have some beautiful curly cedar I'd like to bookmatch for decks.

Have you ever read "Path of the Paddle", or "Song of the Paddle" by Bill Mason? If you haven't, you'll come away thinking the Prospector is the greatest canoe design out there...I have to admit, it swayed my decision to build this design!
