Our GPS is a Garmin Etrex, I believe. Just a basic little model that doesn't have a track log as far as I am aware. In fact, I never heard of a track log until now. Guess I oughta re-read the manual just to be sure...

I think KenB answered my question regarding rapids. I take it to mean we can shoot anything we are reasonably confident we can safely negotiate without injuring rocks, debarking trees, or disarranging strainers with our boats or bodies. Oh yeah, drowning is out too. We definitely err on the side of weenie-ville when it comes to fast water, so I think we'll be okay on that score.
