: Which brings up another question. I just cannot seem to figure out where to
: get decent maps that cover the silly little backwaters we always seem to
: wind up in. Any suggestions on sources for same?
I love maps. Check out Teraserver at http://terraserver.microsoft.com Careful, it's addicting. www.delorme.com manufactures the popular backroads maps that are available at local bookstores; software too. I found some fishing maps at a store that sells only maps that are about 1/3 the price of nautical charts. Then there's www.noaa.gov and www.usgs.gov
Gotta go! Have fun with it. PS, I gotta speak with you about those cool telescopes sometime. Nice work!
