Boat #2 is being built via the Morris style, and I've yet to see Petersen's work, so not sure about that. The only variation I used from Morris' method was to add the small swoops to the ends. I am doing his relief work at the ends of the apummaqs, and since I started with 2" boards, it would have left them dangerously narrow. The swoops added height and very little of the apummaq was removed.
