: I just finished an Arctic Tern 14. I love the boat, but my size 11 feet are a
: bit if a squeeze. My sons (10 & 13) would like to share the boat while
: I make a new one.

: OK - question - will the extra inch in depth in the Coho, or Tern 17 be
: enough for my feet or do I need to go to the Tern High to get 2 1/2 inches
: more?

: On the Tern vs. the Coho, I love the Tern 14 but would like to try the Coho
: to have a faster boat and a multi-chine to go with the Tern. It is kind of
: nice to have variety.

: I have to enter the Kayak from a fixed dock in tidal waters. The Tern is
: stable enough to make that fun but possible. Will the Coho make this wet
: and impossible?

: Maybe even the Osprey?

I can fit my size 15 feet into a AT17 with no problems. It's a bit of a squeeze but I can do it. I sat in my (not yet completed) AT17HI the other day and now understand why people use things like knee hooks and thigh pads. If you can fit at all into a AT14, youll swim in the AT17HI

I did testpaddle the Coho. It feels slightly smaller than my AT17, but I did not have any problems.
