: I have sealed the deck on my Guillemot "L" and put on a couple of
: veneer appliques using epoxy thickened with silica. I wrapped them down
: tight with Saran wrap. One of them took nicely, but the other lifted off
: the deck in the middle of the veneer, right where the deck peak is
: highest. Any suggestions for making it lie flat before I glass the deck?
: Heat gun, maybe?
: As a note, I did round the Guillemot deck a bit, so it doesn't have the
: middle ridge, just a round curve.

Cut a tiny slit in one side of the bubble, and another on the other side. Inject some epoxy
in one side until it comes out the other side. Press on it, wipe off excess and clamp
a soft surfaced hard backed pad in place.
