S&G: Cirrus & Merganser Hybrid ~ Fini! *LINK* *Pic*

Hi all -
Phew! I don't know that I'm going to build 2 boats at the same time again. Anyway, both the Cirrus and the Merganser hybrids are all but complete, just minor details. If the weather holds, I hope to paddle the Cirrus tomorrow.

I finished both boats with System Three LPU. It flowed out great as long as the temps were in the 50's, taking about 40 minutes to dry before applying another coat. One day it got into the low 70's and the stuff was dry at the bow before I finished the stern. I mean it wouldn't take a thumbprint. 9 coats of white on the hulls and 7 coats of clear on the decks.

The Cirrus weighs in at 40lbs. and the Merganser weighs in at 32lbs.

Thanks for all the support and community here...it was a long winter and a big project.
