Hello All,
I am about to glue a hatch coming made of ash ans mahogany strips on my Guilly, and i was wondering how high the bottom of the combing lip should be from the recess. I have it set to 3/4", just because this looks right and shows off the alternating white cedar and redwood strips that the riser is made of. Is 3/4" so high that it will interfere with rolls/maneuverability? What have you guys done?
