That sounds to me like a good idea. Just make sure that the skirt will fit all the way around.!! On my rim I didn't pay close attention to the space between the rim and the deck. I wanted it low profile, but the angle that the recess comes into the rear of the cockpit makes it hard to fit the skirt on at the back!!

I hope I wont make that mistake again.
