: book. One thing I will add is that I am planing the whole rim at a slight
: angle downward from the top of the cockpit. This should make the
: sprayskirt sit more tightly against the lip for a better seal. If anyone

That sounds to me like a good idea. Just make sure that the skirt will fit all the way around.!! On my rim I didn't pay close attention to the space between the rim and the deck. I wanted it low profile, but the angle that the recess comes into the rear of the cockpit makes it hard to fit the skirt on at the back!!

I hope I wont make that mistake again.
