Hi Wayne,

I measure around the outside of the boat in a couple of places(large and small end of the bag location) then make an allowance for the inside dimensions being smaller but the same taper. You can fold your material in half or cut two matching pieces and heat seal around all the edges. Best to put the valve in first.
