Just a comment on the foaming epoxy. I can't really know what's happening for you because I use a VERY slow epoxy. When using raka...or even the uscomposites stuff I use now...the only time I saw foam was when the epoxy was worked too much. When I clean my brush on the side of the container I'll see some foam. I use bristle brushes, though. Once I brush on the epoxy I come back every once in awhile...1/2 hour to hour...and brush out runs with the same brush. When the epoxy begins to stiffen I then squeege with heavy card stock just a little bigger than playing cards. I rarely have any epoxy to squeege on the wet out coat....though I check. Like I said...I don't know if this will help you any because I use the slow epoxy. I prefer it that way....it's very forgiving.
