Having ADHD is a life of endless procrastinated projects plagued by segued ideas. But oh well this is the card I will have to play. I just finished an 11-page research paper on kayaks! I had procrastinated all through the assignment and ended up taking a personal day to finish. Well now since my class is over I will have to overcome procrastination one more time. This time it involves finishing these monsters that the Misses and I started. I wanted to get a picture of the kayaks’ halves unassembled. Since my ENG101 class is over I can finally concentrate on finishing our kayaks, I will then start two skin kayaks for the winter.
I made a mold to make safety line eyelets out of epoxy. I have it figured out that one squirt from the one-gallon resin makes three single eyelets, or one single and a double. The mold works fine but the eyelets shatter way to easy. I mixed some chopped glass in with a batch and they don’t shatter at all. In fact they stand up to my 28oz estwing hammer really well. The original thought was to have see-through eyelets. I would have liked this, because I wanted to put little plastic ants and other peculiar items in with the pour. If someone wants I can post picts of them.
