Thanks Guys for all the nice comments. But, I'll have to confess. I am going to have to do a little filling on her just prior to doing the seal coat of epoxy. The guy taking the pic knows all the spots to avoid when the shutter drops!
Chris, I don't do many 3 am sessions anymore. They feel too much like really bad hang-overs the next day. Guess thats cause I'm getting older.
Hey Tom, I always enjoy hearing from you and reading your comments. And, I go to your site occasionally just to take another look at your pics with the beautiful scenery. I'm looking forward to seeing her completed as well and getting her in the water. . just seems like its taking sooo long!
Your right, Roger. It is a big boat with plenty of leg room like my Necky, only longer and a little narrower. But I'm ~6' and 250#+ . . need to drop a little weight but we all know how that goes.
Gerald, thanks again for the positive response on US Composits. They seem to be a personable lot at U S. I don't mind the slow cure time with the slow hardener since I move a little slower these days too. They got my order to me fast and packaged very well. I'll let you know how the 4 oz cloth works out.
Steve, the deck is white pine and walnut. The walnut bends very well with a heat gun, but, when it comes to planing . . its about as ornery as oak. Its better to stay away from walnut with the plane and just use a sander.
Happy Building Guys and thanks!!
Charles.
