I've never done a strip boat or know the shape of that one regarding doing the interior seams but on the s&g ones I've done I'd say the unknowns of working in the dark 8' away through a cockpit make it a pain for first time constructions,,I bet folks that have done it more than once might be willing to negotiate it. The thing is you can't see a bubble in the tape that far away. There, equivocal as ever.
